This Privacy Policy explains how MenMyParents (“we”, “us”, “our”), operating the mobile application and website at menmyparents.com, collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects your personal data. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India.

1. Who we are

MenMyParents is a parent-child safety and emotional connection app designed for Indian families. We provide daily check-ins, wellbeing tracking, voice memory recording, food-photo sharing, and a shared family calendar.

For the purposes of the DPDP Act, MenMyParents is the Data Fiduciary. You are the Data Principal.

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

We do not collect: location data, contact lists, SMS, call logs, or browsing history.

We process your personal data based on your explicit consent, which you provide on first launch of the app. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account from the Settings screen; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing done before withdrawal.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Authentication, Cloud Messaging). Firebase data centres serving this app are located in Asia (asia-south1, Mumbai) where available.

9. Children's data

The app is intended for adult children (18+) and their parents. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact our Grievance Officer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
